There are not many weeks left until the birth, about 10 weeks. The expectant mother can begin to complete the initial equipment and slowly get used to the upcoming birth of her child. Many women during this time are accompanied by fear of childbirth.

In conversations with other pregnant women, the expectant mother can reduce fears. Anxiety is completely normal, especially for women giving birth for the first time. It is a good time to make preparations at home to welcome a new family member. This will help dispel disturbing thoughts.

30th week of pregnancy - what's going on with the baby?

In the 30th week of pregnancy, your baby's movements may be less intense. The reason for this is the intensive growth of the baby during this time. The skeletal system and the musculoskeletal system are developing at this time. The baby accumulates fatty tissue, which makes it tight. Providing him with something sweet should stimulate him a little. Surely it will return the favor with more than one kick.

The baby's skin is covered with a fine fur coat (lanugo), which is responsible for thermoregulation. Usually, the fluff disappears before birth, as the body is already able to regulate body temperature on its own.

The baby's brain is undergoing intense development. Folds are formed, which in the following weeks are connected by a network of connections. The infant already has well-developed sexual organs. Some mothers, who did not have the opportunity before, can finally know the sex of their baby.

During this time, the baby's heart rate is high. It is around 140 beats per minute. This remains so until the time of birth. In the 30th week of pregnancy, the baby's weight should fluctuate around 1 kg, even up to 1.5 kg.

30th week of pregnancy - what month is it and what changes in the mother?

The 30th week of pregnancy is the middle of the 7th month. The expectant mother may experience fatigue and a feeling of pressure on the bladder due to the intense changes in her body. During this week, you may feel pain in your breasts, which is a sign that breast milk is starting to form. It is worth getting nursing pads, which will greatly improve comfort.

There may also be problems with the digestive system. The most common symptoms are heartburn, constipation and flatulence. The reason for this is the abdomen raised high in the 30th week of pregnancy and the stretching uterus. It is worth consulting specialists or more experienced mothers who have successfully dealt with these problems.

If you feel unwell, you can ask your doctor for a sick leave. Rest during this time is advisable and will allow you to enjoy the time of waiting for the baby.
